J. W. Doran

J. W. Doran Lansing Born July 8, 1920 in Tennessee, passed away September 6, 2009 at the age of 89. J.W. served his country in the U.S. Army during World War II, and worked for 34 years at Oldsmobile. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mose and Caroline Doran; the love of his life Marci; 3 brothers; and 1 sister. He is survived by daughter, Paulette (Michael) Haynes; granddaughter, Melissa Cummings; sisterk Geneva; special friends, Jackie and Mike; special great-nieces, Debbie and Sherry; extended family and friends; and his precious dog, Pepper. Services will be held at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 900 E. Michigan Avenue, Lansing, MI on Thursday, September 10, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. The family will receive friends at the Lansing Chapel on Wednesday, September 9, 2009 from 6-8 p.m., and Thursday, 1 hour prior to the service.
