Jack McNamara Morrice Jack McNamara, 94, of Morrice died Thursday morning at Hospice House of Mid-Michigan in Lansing. A private family service is planned and cremation will be accorded. Jack was born to Bertha and Michael McNamara on July 15, 1915 in Manistique Michigan. He was the director and lobbyist for the Michigan Trucking Association in Lansing for more than 20 years. For several decades, he bred and raised thoroughbred horses on his farm in Morrice. He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen (Chudy); daughter Carolyn Power; son, Tom McNamara; brother, Tom McNamara; and sister, Yvonne "Toots" McNamara. He is survived by two daughters, Marilyn Iwan of Morrice and Sandra McAnallen of San Diego, CA; two granddaughters, Christine Gardner (Steve) of Normal, IL, and Julia McAnallen of Berkeley, CA; and two great-granddaughters.
