Jane LaPratt Obituary

Jane Pohnl LaPratt Lansing Age 83, died June 20, 2010. Born July 24, 1926 in Ortonville, Michigan. Mrs. LaPratt was a retired administrator for Dr. Irving Silverman. She enjoyed square dancing, gardening, reading and the Detroit Tigers. Preceding her in death were her husbands, Joseph Pohnl in 1973 and Gene E. LaPratt in 2008. Surviving are daughter, Marilyn Aldridge; 2 sons, Mark (Dorothy) Pohnl and Michael Pohnl (Craig Mitchell Smith); step daughter, Mary (John) LaPratt-Rego; grandchildren, Nicholas Pohnl and Joseph Pohnl Aldridge; sister, Marion Morris; best friend, Peggy Watson; best buddy, Maude. Memorial services will be held at a later date. Friends desiring may make contributions to the Alzheimer's Association, MI Great Lakes Chapter, 310 N. Main St., #100, Chelsea, MI 48818, or a charity of one's choice. The family is being served by the Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, Lansing.
