Janet Cooper Obituary

Janet Marie Cooper Lansing Loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, age 67, passed away August 16, 2009; born February 4, 1942 in Clare, Michigan. Mrs. Cooper was a member of the Church of Christ all of her life. We are comforted in knowing she is no longer in pain and will be dearly missed. She was preceded in death by her husband, Phillip and son-in-law, Michael Thibault. Surviving are her daughters, Lesley Thibault, Linda Lussmyer and Lisa (Lawrence) Taylor; grandchildren, Heather (Kyle) Barman, Michael Thibault, Tiffany Lussmyer, Lance and Leah Taylor; 5 great-grandchildren; brother, Robert (Mary Lou) Ames; sisters, Ruth Walsh and Sylvia Maxwell; many very special nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 22, 11:00 a.m. at the Church of Christ, 321 E. Holmes Road, Lansing with Minister Richard Roper, officiating. Interment will be held in Clark Lake Cemetery, Clark Lake, Michigan. The family will receive friends at the Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 900 E. Michigan Avenue, Lansing Friday from 1-3 and 5-7 p.m.
