Jearline "Jearl" Adams Lansing Age 74, was born May 30, 1938 in Brownsville, TN to Walter and Zenobia Frost Currie. She lived in Lansing for many years, but returned to Brownsville in 1985, after the passing of her mother, to run the family business, Frost Cafe. In recent years, Jearl returned to Lansing, after retiring, to enjoy spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by: her sons, Gary, Michael, Henry Ray, Larry "Poncho", and Clyde Adams; grandson, Michael Adams; parents; grandparents; and sister, Dorothy Benson. Survivors include: her children, Verlinda Beasley, Ricky, Darlean, Kem, Monica, Preston (Helen) Adams and Shauneen (JB) McClain; 14 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; sister, Nola Currie of Indianapolis, IN; aunts, Carolyn (David) Pirtle of Gary, IN and Clara Stewart of Milwaukee, WI; nieces, Teresa Benson and Valerie Berry; nephew, Fred Benson, III, all of Brownsville, TN; the Walk In Truth Church Family; and a host of other family members and friends. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Sparrow Hospice Services. Friends may visit Ms. Adams Monday, August 13, 12 - 9 p.m. at the Riley Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 14, 11:00 a.m. at South Church of the Nazarene, 401 West Holmes Road, Lansing.
