Karen was an amazing woman--good, strong Finnish blood! She always visited when she passed through town and always remembered everyone's birthdays and anniversaries with cards. Mary & Nancy, it's tough when your mom goes, no matter what your age. She will be missed.

Nancy and Mary, Our sincere sympathy is sent your way in the death of your mom. Would love to give both of you a hug in person, but this note will have to do for now. Know that we will be thinking of you and giving prayers for a gentle transition for you dealing without her in your earthly lives. Karen was a great mom to you girls and did an outstanding job in raising you on her own. Peace and love, Gail and Larry Ried/Goodyear, Arizona
