Kenneth Thelen Obituary

Kenneth A. Thelen Kenneth A. Thelen passed away Sunday, October 4, 2009. He was born April 5, 1955 to Frances Simon and the late Joseph Thelen. Age 54 He was the beloved husband of the late Ann Koenigsknecht Thelen; loving father of Brendan and Brigid Thelen; dear son of Frances and the late Joseph Thelen; loving brother of Michael (Marie), Marty (the late Deanne) and Mark (Kathy) Thelen; dear son-in-law of Patricia and the late Paul Koenigsknecht; and brother-in-law of Frank (Theresa), Patrick (Martha) and Tim (Robin) Koenigsknecht. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Ken graduated from TW High School in 1973, and then from Michigan State University in 1976. He was very active with Summit Country Day School and the Cinninnati community. He was an equity partner with Arthur Anderson before serving as President of Knowledge Development Centers beginning in 2002, and then served as President of Education Services Group. Friends may call at Geo. H. Rohde & Son Funeral Home, Linwood and Delta Aves., Mt. Lookout, Friday, October 9 from 4-7 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Chapel at Summit Country Day, Saturday, October 10 at 10:30 am. Memorials may be directed to Summit Country Day School, 2161 Grandin Rd., 45208. A Memorial Mass will be held on Tuesday October 20, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. at Most Holy Trinity Church in Fowler Michigan 48835.
