Kenneth Donaldson Obituary

Kenneth B. Donaldson Age 87, passed away on Tuesday, August 11, 2009. He was born in Lansing, operated a successful roofing contracting business for many years, and in retirement he spent winters in Bradenton, Florida, and summers at Ponshewaing on Crooked Lake. Ken was a WWII vet who loved cars, bridge, woodworking, and was known for his beautiful yard. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Louise Donaldson, and his wife of 57 years, Mary Gertrude (Dalton) Donaldson. He is survived by his children: Susan (Arnold) Solomon, Mary Lou (Patrick) Barbour, Tom (Beth) Donaldson, Robert (Debi) Donaldson, 9 grandchildren, one great-grandchild, sister-in-law Jean Dalton and many nieces and nephews. A memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, September 19 at 11:00 a.m. at The Church of the Resurrection. A luncheon will follow Mass. Arrangements by Gorsline Runciman Funeral Home, Lansing Chapel, 900 E. Michigan Avenue, Lansing, Michigan.
