Kenneth Kerr Obituary

Kenneth David Kerr Portland Kenneth David Kerr, 67 of Portland, retired Deputy Chief of Lansing Township Fire Department and Naval veteran lost his battle with cancer Thursday June, 24 2010. Dave lived a full and happy life and is survived by his wife, Catherine; mother, Marguerite Shultz (Stan) of Calgary Canada; mother-in-law, Orlean Ziegler of Portland; eight children, Tammie Noel, Debbie Wullaert of Augusta, Maine, David Kerr (Marianne) of Portland, Ron Kerr (Amy) of Eaton Rapids, Michael Kerr (Jutta) of Albertshofen Germany, Sarah Cole (Dawn) of Muskegon, Rebecca Guerra (Luis) of Los Angeles, CA, Christopher Cole (Kelli) of Hudsonville; 21 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at a future date to be determined and announced when all of his children can come together to celebrate his life. In leu of flowers please make a donation to Portland United Methodist Church Building Fund or your local Humane Society. Arrangements are entrusted to the Schrauben-Lehman Funeral Homes, Portland. Sorry to hear about your loss. I went to school with Dave from Jr. High through High School and we were very close friends. I will miss him dearly. From One Close Friend to Another Close Friend. May God Bless his family.
