Kim Adams Obituary

Kim Rae (Wood) Adams Lansing Age 50, died Saturday, September 19, 2009 after a courageous 7 year battle with cancer. She was a member of the National Honor Society at Centreville High School. She was a cook and waitress at Nic's Diner and loved to bake. Kim married Roger D. Adams on December 27, 1993. Kim is survived by her husband; her sons, Jeffry L. and Mitch (Becky) Adams; grandsons, Liam and Lawrence; parents, Jack and Joan (Miller) Wood; brothers, David (Marsha) Wood and Brian (Mary Ann) Wood. She was preceded in death by 2 sons, Matthew and Mark Adams. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 22, 2009 at Colonial Village Baptist Church, 2010 Boston Blvd, Lansing, with the Rev. H. Randolph Morgan officiating. Interment will follow at Deepdale Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel on Monday from 6-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in memory of Kim may be made to Our Savior Lutheran Church School, 7910 E. St. Joseph Hwy., Lansing, MI 48917 for her son Jeffry's education.
