Larry Albert Nichols

Larry Albert Nichols Crystal formerly of Dimondale and Lansing, age 56, passed away at his home in Crystal, April 10, 2010. He was born January 28, 1954, in Lansing, the son of Mary Ellen and Harris Nichols. Larry retired from the State of Michigan, and was active with the TEAM. He was an avid hunter and woodworker, and was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church in Carson City. Surviving are his wife, Sheila Large; 2 daughters, Jessica and Danielle Large; sister, Mary (Allan) Jones; 3 nieces; and 5 great-nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. The funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 14, 2010, at the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel, with The Rev. Kenneth L. Williamson officiating. Interment will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Sparrow Hospice Services or Calvary Lutheran Church in Carson City, in memory of Larry Nichols.
