I know this is a very late condolence but I don’t live in Lansing any more and until the last year didn’t know how to find a lot of things on the internet. I got to know L.Z. and Gay through their daughter Patsy and they started teaching me about the Bible and I became a Jehovah Witness. This was in 1958 and they treated me like another daughter. I spent so much time with them going to meetings, preaching door to door, going to assemblies, etc. A little later on I moved away from them and lost contact with them and Pat. As I got older I realized how kind they were to me and I never thanked them for that kindness. So now it’s too late, but if any family reads this small tribute to a fine couple, I’ll be happy.
