Marion Elsie Fox Dimondale Marion Elsie Fox, 96, passed away on July 14, 2013. Marion was born on July 29, 1916 to Joseph and Vera (Shepherd) Pray. She was a graduate of Dimondale High School. Marion married Edward Fox in August 1938. She enjoyed her time as a 4H leader and helped out the war effort knitting for the soldiers during WWII. Marion worked in the accounting department for J.W. Knapp for 27 years until her retirement in 1980. Following her retirement Marion was a transportation volunteer for the Waverly 39ers Senior Citizens Group. She was a member of several local organizations including the Daughters of the American Revolution for 43 years, a life member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Dimondale Senior Citizens, the Dimondale Home Culture Club, the Dimondale Home and Garden Club. Marion is survived by her son - Edward (Sharon) Fox of Springport, MI; 3 Grandchildren, Julie ( Louis) Lester, of Omaha NE, Janet Fox of Clinton Twp, MI, Jim Fox, of Britton MI; Great Grandchildren Amber Fox, Rachel Fox, Justin Lester, Bradley Lester; her sister - Jolene Wibirt of Hastings MI and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Walter Fox, her father, Joseph A Pray, her mother, Vera Elsie Pray, her brother, George A Pray, and her sister, Jane P Bruner-Fell. Visitation will be held Thursday, July 18, 2013 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Pray Funeral Home, Inc., 401 W. Seminary St., Charlotte, Michigan. Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 19, 2013, 11:00 a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church, Dimondale, Michigan, with Rev. Scott Crane, officiating. Burial will follow in the Courter- Pray Cemetery. If desired, the family suggests memorials to the First Presbyterian Church sound system. The family is in the care of Pray Funeral Home, Charlotte.
