Martha Brown Obituary

Martha M. Brown St. Johns Martha M. Brown of St. Johns, Michigan died on Tuesday, September 8, 2009 at the age of 67. She was born in St. Johns on March 18, 1942 the daughter of Michael and Bonnie Ladisky. Martha married Larry A. Brown, Sr. on July 26, 1960 in St. Johns and he preceded her in death on July 7, 2002. Martha loved being a member of the Red Hat Society and baking cookies for her grandsons. Surviving Martha are her sons, Larry (Lynette) Brown Jr. and Jeffery (Julie) Brown both of St. Johns; grandsons, Michael (Erika) Brown, Josh Brown, Corey Brown and Dustin Brown. Martha is also survived by her brothers, Michael (Wendy) Ladisky, Tom Sr. (Barb) Ladisky and Patrick Ladisky and many nieces and nephews. Along with her parents and husband, Martha was preceded in death by her grandson, Brent Brown. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m., Friday, September 11, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in St. Johns with burial following at Mt. Rest Cemetery, Rev. Father Thomas Thompson will be officiating. Family will receive friends Thursday, September 10 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at the Osgood Funeral Home 104 E. Cass St., St. Johns.
