Mary Krebs Obituary

Mary Helen Krebs Charlotte Mary Helen (Winn) Krebs, born March 24, 1928 in Alliance, Ohio to Frank and Rosella Winn, joined her Heavenly Father on Saturday, December 18, 2010 after a lengthy illness. Mary Helen was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She married Richard W. Krebs in 1949 in Alliance. She owned and operated an adult foster care home for over 30 years. She was a faithful member of the Charlotte Free Methodist Church before becoming ill. She is survived by her husband, Richard of Charlotte; son, Ronald (Ellen) of Cass City; daughters, Barbara (Dr. Ted) Scofield of Livingston, MT, Nancy (Daniel) Pick of Charlotte, Amelia (Garth) Banks of Indianapolis, IN and Rebecca (Frank) Balluff of Charlotte; 13 grandchildren; and 5 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Charles and Harold; and daughter-in-law, Darlene (Driscoll) Krebs. There will be a Memorial Service on Saturday, January 15, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. at Burkhead-Green Funeral Home in Charlotte, with visitation from 10:00 A. M. until Noon. The family would like to thank the many special staff members of the Eaton County Medical Care Facility for their loving care over the years. I'll always remember Aunt Mary Helen for her laugh and her warm smile. I am very appreciative for the care she provided to my Grandmother in her home for several years. Sandra & Gari Weingart
