May you rest in peace Megan! I only met you once a very long time ago. I am your grandfather's (John Trotter) daughter-n-law. You made a lasting impression on me when you came to Colorado with your sister Emily. I fondly remember you being a bright & beautiful young lady. Scott and I will NEVER forget you. We pray for you, your Mom & Dad, your sisters and nieces & nephews as they endure this painful time in their lives. May your memories keep us all strong. GOD BLESS!
Love Denise & Scott

Dear Collins Family,
There are no words that help this tragedy make sense. Please know that all of Potterville is thinking of you at this time. I also remember Meagan's smile. It was comparable to turning on a light. May God give your family some peace.
Love,

To the Collins family....This is a time in my life when I ask "Why". Why, Why, Why.....This is where my faith in God must be stronger each moment of thought. I am deeply sorry for your tragedy and loss of Megan. To me, Megan holds a special place in my heart. I have great memories watching her grow from that hormonal adolescent to a creative young lady while coaching and teaching her thoughout her years at Potterville. Above and beyond being her teacher, the "Collins Ladies" have always been dear to me as I have been apart of your lives for many years. I will always remember her natural beauty and beautiful smile. When Megan would come to school ornery, I could always get her to crack a smile. She would make me work harder sometimes to accomplish my goal, but I always seemed to win the "smile battle".
As for the days, weeks, months and years to come, each day will be a challege for us all. But no one can take the fond memories we all have of Megan away. Stay strong and if there is one peice of advice I can offer you and your family, it is "don't be too proud to receive grieving counseling and lean on your friends and family for support." If you need anything, just ask. And, I will be there each day to offer Kirsten BIG hugs when needed at school.
With my deepest love and sympathy, Georgina Fry Hill
