I am sorry to learn of Myra's passing. As a small youngster, the Brackins were
like family to me. Myra and I spent alot of time playing together. May God bless and keep you and your families during this difficult time.

Myra and I shared a locker while classmates at Sexton. Though we did not stay in touch after graduation, I never forgot her. Myra was not only beautiful on the outside, but on the inside as well. She will be missed.

I remember the night Myra won Miss LCC. Penny & I were just kids and we were so excited that we waited up for her to come home. She looked so pretty. She was a beautiful person inside and out. I am so sorry for your loss.

Everybody has someone they look up to. Not everyone makes the best decisions in selecting that person as their life choices are the evidence. But I know I did. She was always so sharp and together that college and a professional life were my only options and she encouraged me all along the way. She continued to check in on me through my life and was always so proud of whatever milestones I reached. I was not the best, but I did my best and she always was able to lift me up so high that once we were done speaking, I had more fuel to forge ahead with onfidence. The day after she passed away, two butterflies found me. One on my window and another following me during a walk to clear my head. I knew it was her assuring me she was alright and with God. My sadness that yet another one of my family is gone is remidied by the fact that the righteous will see one another again and I know she is there waiting. I won't be able to make it back for the memorial, but you all know I would if I could. God be with you and farewell to my dear "Cousin-Sister" Myra Kathleen. Tell everyone I said hello up there!

Dear Ed, Penelope (Penny) and Beverly,
I am so sorry for your loss. I have many early and fond memories of Myra...always trying to hang with Shelia, Jerry and I as teenagers. May God continue to bless each of your families during this difficult time in your lives. Sincerely, Edna Rogers-Johnson
P.S. Unforumately, I am unable to attend Myra's memorial service as I am vacatioining in Cape May, New Jersery and will not be back in Lansing until August 14th. But please know that the Brackins family is in my prayers.
