Ottilie Sanderson Obituary

Ottilie Ruth "Tillie" Sanderson Lansing Age 97, died in Charlotte, Michigan on July 5, 2010. She was born to Wanda and Rudolph Moltzon, June 13, 1913, in Jersey City, NJ. She is survived by two children, Susan (Robert) Christiansen of Charlotte and James (Mary) Sanderson of Manistee; 4 grandchildren, Neal Christiansen, Sarah Raguckas, Jay Sanderson and Steve Sanderson; great-grandchild, Brody Raguckas; 2 sisters, Frieda Bassler and Margaret Kinney; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest; 3 sisters, Martha Conarton, Elsie Gustofik and Edna Stangry; and grandson, Jonathon Sanderson. The funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 7, 2010, at Bethlehem Evangelical Lutheran Church, 549 E. Mt. Hope, Lansing, with The Rev. James R. Lichtenberger and Pastor Matthew A. Smith officiating. Interment will follow in Deepdale Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the church from 12:30 p.m. until service time on Wednesday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to McLaren Hospice in memory of Tillie Sanderson. Arrangements by the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel.

So sorry to hear of your mom's passing, she was a sweetheart. My thoughts and prayers are with you at the most difficult time.
