Patricia DeRose Obituary

Patricia (Leanza) DeRose Age 76, born July 22, 1934 to Saverio and Giovanniaa Leanza, Pat passed away Saturday, September 25, 2010. Patricia was a devoted member of Holy Cross Catholic Church, and later St. Gerard Catholic Church. She was a legendary cook, famous for her homemade cannoli, and loved the Detroit Tigers. Pat is preceded in death by her loving husband, Joseph DeRose; her parents; her siblings, Vicenzo Leanza, Grace Leanza, Sam Leanza, Mary Troolines, Angela Agrusa, and Lena Pardee. She is survived by her children, Mary Jo (Jesse) Howard, Joseph (Jennifer) DeRose; grandchildren, Alaina, Joseph, Mia, Zoe; sisters, Jo (Don) Badrak, Joann (Pete) Crachiolo, and Lucia Etrick Services for Pat will be held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 29, 2010 at St. Gerard Catholic Church, 4437 W. Willow Hwy, Lansing, officiated by Fr. John Klein, and followed by interment at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Monday, 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday with a vigil service at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at Tiffany Funeral Home, 3232 W. Saginaw, Lansing and from 12-1 p.m. Wednesday before the service at church. Friends may sign the online guestbook at www.tiffanyfuneralhome.com
