Sue, I am so sorry to hear of your loss of Pete. Pete was admired, respected and loved by many I am sure. He always listened and offered his help when needed. Among the many State Directors, he stands out as one who embodied the best in both intellect and humanity. I will miss him.

Over a four-decade period, I knew Pete – as a pioneering leader, consummate professional and role model in the field of rehabilitation, a devoted husband, father and grandfather, and for me most pointedly a great person who I had the pleasure of considering “the older brother” I never had. He was always there for me… not only in person but in spirit. I miss him dearly yet trust that the warm memories of him will ease the felt emptiness.
My heart goes out to Sue, Krissy and Zac, and believe that your recollections of Pete’s, Dad’s and Grandpa’s existence and essence will help with the momentary caverness void.
With hugs and love to all,
Bill Emener
