Priscilla Shaver Obituary

Priscilla Lou Shaver East Lansing Age 72, passed away August 10, 2009. She was born May 30, 1937, in Lansing, to Fred "Cuddy" and Harriet Shaver, who preceded her in death. Priscilla was a teacher with the Lansing School District for 30 years, finishing her career at Lewton School. She was a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority at MSU, and was a sorority house representative. Surviving are her brother, Fred (Berneice) Shaver of DeWitt and step-nephews, Zachary B. Smith and Gregory J. Smith. A graveside service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, August 12, 2009, at Evergreen Cemetery in Lansing, with The Rev. Dr. Harry H. Johnson, of The Peoples Church of East Lansing, officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Peoples Church of East Lansing in memory of Priscilla Shaver.

I am so sad to hear of Priscilla's death. I was a classmate of hers and we had many memories of our days at East Lansing High, class of 1955. My condolences to the family.
