Richard F. Allarding Obituary
Richard F. Allarding Reed City Richard F. Allarding of Reed City, formerly of Grand Ledge, died peacefully at his home on November 16, 2012 after a brief illness. Richard was born in Lake Odessa, MI on January 20, 1932 and was a proud veteran of the United States Navy. He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Elaine (Geasler); daughter Nancy (Dan) Chiesa; son Steve (Amy) Allarding; grandchildren Jessica Bagley, Joshua and Sierra Chiesa, Amanda Allarding, and Jocelyn Prestler; two great grandchildren, Caleb and Mia; sister Elaine (Jack) Garnaat; sisters-in-law, Jeanne Allarding and Donna McCoy. He was preceded in death by his parents Fay and Eva Allarding and his brother Robert Allarding. Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Monday November 19, 2012 at the United Methodist Church in Leroy, MI with Pastor Scott Loomis officiating. A memorial donation may be made in his name to Hospice of Michigan or to the Veterans Association of America and envelopes will be available from 2-6 P.M.
