Robert Feasel Obituary

Robert "Bob" J. Feasel Duck Lake Robert J. Feasel of Duck Lake and formerly of Eaton Rapids, MI. died on Saturday, January 29, 2011 at the age of 83. Bob was born on January 13, 1928 in Eaton Rapids to Merle and Mildred Feasel. He was a graduate of the Eaton Rapids High School, class of 1946 and was a sales manager for Singer Sewing Machine Co. until 1962 when he started his own business full time. He owned Feasel Realty, Robert Feasel Builder's and was President of Irish Downs Corp He enjoyed golf, cards and liked being with family and friends. Bob spent winters in Florida at their Florida home. Preceding him in death were his parents and brother, Richard "Dick" Feasel. Surviving are his wife of 63 years, Kay Feasel; daughter, Roberta (Dan) Ribby; granddaughter, Danielle (Eric) Beller of Rockford, MI.; grandson, Robert (Jamie) Ribby of Eaton Rapids; 2 great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Georgia Feasel; 2 brothers-in-law, Frank (Margaret) Squires and Albert (Lucille) Squires; 6 nieces and 1 nephew. Funeral services will be Tuesday, February 1, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. from the Skinner Funeral Home in Eaton Rapids with Rev. John Metcalf, officiating. Burial will follow in the Rosehill Cemetery in Eaton Rapids. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. For those desiring memorial gifts may be made to either the First Congregational Church in Eaton Rapids or the Eaton Rapids Medical Center in memory of Robert J. I am sorry to hear about the loss of your dear grandfather. I enjoyed hearing your treasured stories about both of your grandparents on our walks around the lake after school.
