Robert Wilson Clifford, M.D. Owosso Age 81, passed away Wednesday, April 28, 2010 at his residence. Funeral Services will be held 11 a.m., Monday, May 3, 2010 at Nelson-House Funeral Home, with Rev. Ray Strawser officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Sunday from 2 to 8 p.m. Survivors include his wife, Ruth Ann; children, Theresa Harrison Kresge of Port Clinton, Ohio and Robert Wilson (Sherry) Clifford II of San Clemente, California; step-daughter, Lynn Patricia (James) Diffell of Muskegon; and seven grandchildren. Many friends will think of him whenever they hear a Frank Sinatra song. He loved Old Blue Eyes and we have all heard many a verse of "New York, New York". His greatest loves where his family, his medical practice, being involved at the hospital, golfing and spending time at the family's vacation home in Harbor Springs, Michigan. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Shiawassee County Humane Society or the Memorial Healthcare Foundation.
