Ronald Holbrook Obituary

Ronald Holbrook Mr. Holbrook passed away on September 19, 2009, in his home surrounded by family following a battle with cancer. He was born Ronald Arthur Holbrook on October 13, 1945, to Arthur and Eva Holbrook in Detroit, MI, and subsequently spent his childhood on the beaches of St. Joseph, Ontario. On December 4, 1965, he married his high school sweetheart, Sharon Rosmary Bruff, and raised his family on a farm in the peaceful countryside of Webberville, MI. Ronald was a carpenter by trade, running his own business until the early 2000's, and was actively involved with his children in 4-H. After his retirement from carpentry, he became an automotive manager for Walmart of Fowlerville, MI, and worked side-by-side with his daughter in her budding pizzeria business. Preceding him in death are his parents, Arthur and Eva Holbrook. Surviving members are his wife, Sharon; his five children, Angela Robinson (Mark), Ronald Holbrook, Jr., Donna Carr (Chad), Debbie Zellen (Matthew), DeeAnna Holbrook; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; brother, Gary Holbrook; sister, Diane Miller; and niece and nephew. Visitation will be held Tuesday, September 22, 2009, from 12 noon to 3:00 p.m. and 5 :00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Keehn Funeral Home, Brighton, MI. The Funeral Service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 23, 2009, at the funeral home, with the Rev. Peter J Clark officiating. Burial later at Glen Eden Cemetery, Livonia, MI. Memorial contributions may be made to the family, envelopes available at the funeral home.
