Rosie Reynolds Obituary

Rosie Lee Reynolds Lansing Age 102, was born July 20, 1908 to John Jordan and Lilley Lindsey and passed away July 20, 2010. She came to Lansing in the 1940's from Roanoke, Alabama. During her career, which spread over 50 years, she was a chauffeur, governess, house keeper, gunpowder factory worker. She was a resident of Tender Care South and The Pines Health Care Center. She dedicated her life to her husband Allen, church, grandchildren and great- grandchildren, gardening, and helping others. Rosie was an active member of Trinity AME Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Allen and parents. Survivors include: her granddaughter, Lorna; great- grandson, Joseph; many other grandchildren and great- grandchildren; special friends, Russell (Betty) Williams, Charles (Karen) Ford, Martha Cager, Terry and Mac; and long time friend and companion, Robert Yancy. Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 24, 11:00a.m., at Trinity A. M. E. Church, 3500 W. Holmes Rd. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the funeral. A special thank you to The Pines Health Care Center.
