Ross Melvin Randall

Ross Melvin Randall Lansing Formerly from Coleman, MI. Age 71, was born on a farm in Coleman, MI on August 26, 1938 and he died in Lansing, April 29, 2010, after an extended illness of multiple myeloma. Ross graduated from Coleman High School and he was an Army Veteran. Ross worked at the Chevrolet Foundry in Saginaw, MI for a few years. He enjoyed operating heavy equipment. Ross worked as a cross country truck driver, carrying chemicals for Chemical Leaman, Dow Corning in Midland, MI, until he was injured. Ross was an avid rifle and bow hunter. He was at peace playing country-western music on his guitar. Mr. Ross was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Lester and Beatrice Randall. Survivors include: his children, Jeffrey R.(Shelly)Randall of Trinidad, CO and Christopher R. Randall of Prescott Valley, AZ; grandchildren, Tye, Teven, and Taya; brothers, Lester E. (Linda) Randall of Attica, MI and Joseph L. (Rosemary) Randall of Coleman; sisters, Marybelle Guy of Lansing and Dolores(Dallas) Perkins of Duarte, CA; special niece and nephew, Cristy Randall of Birmingham, MI and Eric Guy of Lansing; many other nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, May 4, 11:30 a.m. at Faith United Methodist Church, 4301 S. Waverly Rd, with Rev. Russell McReynolds officiating. The family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to the funeral. Interment will take place at Warren Township Cemetery in Coleman, MI. Arrangements entrusted to Riley Funeral Home.
