I have many happy memories of Roy, and I know that he is at peace. I first worked with Roy at the Pear and Partridge restaurant in 1968. Then we worked together at The Grand Manor of Lansing in 1969, and again worked together at The Lions Den, Lansing for several years. After I left restaurant work, I still seemed to run into him often at the Meridian Mall, or at Meridian Meijers, and we talked. My life is better for the memories of him.
