Shirley Noren Obituary

Shirley A. Noren Portland Age 74, passed away on April 26, 2010. She was born on March 1, 1936 in St. Johns the daughter of Clarence and Lorena (Pung) Irrer. Shirley was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Karl; brother, Clarence; sister, Lorraine. Surviving are her husband, Carl; children Ken (Debbie) Noren of Troy, ID, Kevin (Laura) Noren of Lansing, Kimberly Noren, and Kirk (Gail) Noren both of Williamston; grandchildren Taylor and Jacob Noren and Katherine Noren; siblings Joanne Grow of Lansing, Janice Carmody of Rockford, Linda (Larry) Kupferschmid of Palisades, NY, Mary (Jim) Coller-Ditta of Holland, Duane Irrer of Portland and David (Chris) Irrer of Detroit; sisters-in-law, Esther Irrer of Portland, Jean O'Bannon of Portland, Alice (Joe) Hoppes of Portland and Jill Smith of North Carolina; many nieces and nephews. The Memorial Mass will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, May 1, 2010 at St. Patrick Catholic Church with Rev. Larry King, presiding. The family will receive friends at 9:30 a.m., Saturday at the Church. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m., Friday at the Schrauben-Lehman Funeral Home, 210 E. Bridge St., Portland. Online condolences may be made at www.schraubenlehman.com.

to the family of shirley noren..my name is johnnie vanlake and i worked with shirley at st lawrence way back in the day..she was always so good to me..she was kind and took me uner her wing when we met..the year was 1973..she was a terrific nurse.
