We extend our deepest sympathy to the Bouck family. I had the privilege and joy of working with Shirley in a number of musical productions over the years and she was a consummate professional who loved to have fun while doing top notch directing. We loved her smile, her joy and her wonderful soul. I wonder if tap dancing is allowed in heaven. If it isn't now it will be with Shirley's arrival. Our thoughts and prayers are with all the Bouck family.

The image of Shirley teaching St. Peter the 2-step as she passes through the Pearly Gates keeps running through my mind. I imagine the supreme celestial council has convened to change the name of the Heavenly Choir, since Shirley is soon to have the angels all dancing!
Love to you Shirl and to your Brood and to theirs.

We were dancers in the Social Security Scandals. Some of us were there from almost the beginning and others of us for a shorter time. All ten of us loved dancing with Shirley so much. We became great friends and loved our Tuesday night sessions at Shirley's, learning the steps for our next show and sharing stories with each other. We laughed together and we shared each others sorrows. Shirley was an inspiration to all of us - her great sense of humor, her liveliness, and her attention to the details that made her show great. She was truly an artist and a great friend. She will be sorely missed by us all. Love and Prayers to the Family from the Social Security Scandals Dancers: Joann Bayhan, Nada Bentley, Mary Ellen Claggett, Bonnie Radway,Carol Davis,Debbie Smith, Barb Kelsey, June Mills, and Barb Wynalda

My late mother played piano with Shirl's Girls for many years. The times she had and the very good and lasting friends she made were among her most favorite memories. Blessings to the family and RIP to a great lady.

Dear Children, You don't remember me, more than likely, but I baby sat for you when you were younger. Your Dad was my dentist, and your Mom a very good friend of mine! I always enjoyed seeing her and chatting with her! She will be missed by all! Annie Hoy Emmons

Take comfort in knowing that now you have a guardian angel, who's wearing tap shoes, to watch over you. I was Shirley's stage manager for 20 years for Scandals. She was not only my director, she was my friend. Her creativity and humor and love for her family will be missed.
