Dear Pollitt Family,
I was so sorry to hear about the passing of your husband/father. I was going to take the kids to visit Mr. Pollitt on Saturday at Eaton County. Then I noticed when I read the paper that morning that he had passed the day before. I was so saddened by this news. I hope and pray that you and your mom are doing ok. You are a wonderful family and truly make/made the world a much better place for your parents! I see many families and you are an amazing one!!! It was such a pleasure to meet all of you! I will continue to pray for all of you.

I am so sorry we missed the funeral. Mom (Lillian, Stanley's cousin) is still in Lansing, but I live with my family in Grand Rapids and I don't always catch all the local Lansing news. Please accept our sincere thoughts and prayers on your loss. With Fond Regards, Lillian and Michelle

To all of you:
Stan was a gentle gentle man.... I remember the summers we spent with the family at Douglas Lake and the Fishing stories..... Val it was always whose dad caught the most fish and biggest fish. Of course I think Stan won out.... But we had great memories - he was a great father and I know you will miss him terribly.

Hi Stan;
Just your ole buddy from Rodney. Sorry you left before I did, but we will have a chance to tell sea stories together once again, some where - someplace. You will have to agree it was real great sharing our friendship since about 1940 as teenagers. Thank you Stan for all the great memories. Doug
