Sue Crowley Obituary

Sue Ellen Crowley Greenville Sue Ellen Crowley age 62, passed away at her home Sunday September 13, 2009. She was born in Lansing MI on November 8,1946 the daughter of Frank E. and Shirley L. Reed Pierce. Sue graduated from Grand Ledge High School and attended MSU. She was retired from the Greenville Public Schools and was a former tennis coach at the school. She was a member of the First Congregational Church in Greenville. She married Douglas M. Crowley in Grand Ledge on April 13, 1968. Sue was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and she was anticipating the arrival of another grandchild. She is survived by her husband Doug of Greenville, sons; Ryan (Amy) of Midland, Eric of Baltimore and Todd (P.J.) of St. Johns, grandchildren Rachel and Matt, mother, Shirley Pierce of Mulliken, sisters; Jane (Victor) Ovenden of Grand Ledge, Pat (Larry) Spitzley of Mulliken, and Pam (Dan) Clark of Lowell, brother-in-law Gary (Sue) Crowley of Thompson Station TN and nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral services will be held on Thursday September 17, 2009 at 11 a.m. from First Congregational Church in Greenville with Rev. Jerrold T. Jones officiating. Burial will be in Meadowbrook Cemetery, Mulliken. Visitation will be Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Hurst Funeral Home Greenville. Memorial contributions may be given to Hospice of Michigan or the American Cancer Society. Messages of condolence may be sent via hurstfuneralhome.com
