"My Prayer are with the family, I remember Tabitha coming to most our football practices, running across our stomachs because Coach Stanton was making us stronger" She was always by our side on game night or on the practice field.

I don't know if you'll read this entry anytime soon or not. The pain maybe too much but you at one point will find comfort in the thoughts of others here. How do I know? Because our family has been through it and continues to go through this life without our daughter who we lost almost 4 years ago next month. Our daughters guest book here on legacy has been active since the beginning and someday you will find comfort in the knowledge that so many care. I would like to reach out to you knowing that it may be sometime before you can respond. We however, unfortunately, have much in common. Our daughters are (I don't like to use "were") alike. Both are volleyball players, beautiful blonds, loving, liked by all, on homecoming courts, etc. We are from the Lakewood community but we reside in the little community of Sunfield where like yourselves the support has been tremendous. We too started a scholarship fund to keep busy and to keep our daughter Emily's memory alive and have a website in her honor (www.emilyduits.com) If you choose to visit it, you may find some comfort there in knowing that you Tabita has a new friend. "Comfort" is a hard word to describe because nothing takes the heartache away. I found that knowing Em had friends that would go ahead of her was somewhat of a comfort along with beloved relatives and of course Heaven itself and Jesus. It's the thoughts of Heaven that sustain us. I could write so much, but even the little things like taking a shower or doing the dishes can be a struggle at this point in your grief. I will simply let you know that I care and I do know your intense pain. I don't know how I've lived this long but we somehow go on because of our family and our other children and to honor our children that are awaiting on the other side. Our hearts are with you more than you realize.

I know a lot of people will remember Tabi in so many ways. I'll always remember her. She's the one who yelled at me for not being on the sidelines cheering. Tabi always smiled and was so smart. I miss her so much!

Dear Stanton Family,
I didn't know Tabitha for very long, but she change my life in so many ways. She was always smiling and making everyone in CAHEP laugh. She was such a happy person and knew how to keep a smile on everyones face. She made me relize that no matter how you dress or act if you try you can get along with everyone. She wasn't judgemental and she got along with everyone. I wish I could've gotten to know her better. She was defintly a well rounded person and always tried her best at everything. I will miss her dearly and I will always have a place for her in my heart.

Although her time was too brief with you, the love she shared with everyone will forever live on. Tabitha was an angel here on earth, and now your guardian angel in heaven. You will meet again one day, and I hope you find comfort knowing she was so adored by so many. May the knowledge of how blessed you are to have her in your heart help to carry you through till you meet again.

To Tabitha’s Family,
Our families have never met but on many occasions we have sat in the same bleachers watching our daughter’s play volleyball against each other. Our hearts are truly saddened by the loss of Tabitha and pray that your family and the Potterville community will find healing and comfort in knowing that others care.

To the family of Tabitha,
Although we have never met, I can't begin to tell you how much Tabitha & her family cross my mind. Her picture is breath-taking & I can't even begin to imagine your loss. My daughter is a 5th grader at Potterville & she came home with a blue bracelet on in memory of Tabitha. She has never met her but told me how sad she felt about it. We are praying for you. I did not know her but I was driving on 96 highway the day of the crash.
I saw the car and instantly started to pray for the person who was taken to the hospital. I didn't see anything because I was far down the highway. I pray for her friends and family. Take care. Carmen
