Trent Allen Obituary

Trent David Allen Williamston Trent David Allen, age 42, loving husband, father, son, brother and friend passed away on Wednesday June 30, 2010 surrounded by his family. Funeral services will be celebrated at the Williamston High School Gymnasium on Saturday July 3, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. Pastor Doug Bradshaw will officiate with burial to follow at Summit Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Williamston Free Methodist Church at 4400 N. Williamston Rd. on Friday 4-8 p.m. and 1 hour before the service at the school. Trent was born in Mio, MI on September 5, 1967 the son of Merlyn and Sandra (Yotti) Allen. He was a graduate of Williamston High School and then went on to graduate from Spring Arbor College where he played basketball all 4 years. On July 20, 1991 he married Yolanda Sowle in Hillsdale, MI. and for the past 10 years they have lived in Williamston. Trent has been a avid supporter of both Williamston and Spring Arbor basketball. Trent was president/owner of the Jamieson-Allen Agency in Howell. He was an insurance salseman "who not only met clients but made friends". He is survived by his wife, Yolanda, his children, Jaedyn, Jewell, and Jace, his brothers Tim of Clawson, MI, Todd (Joanna) of Madison, Wisconsin, Tobin of Williamston, his sister Taryn (Shaun) Hensley of Portland, OR, mother Sandra (Yotti) of Williamston, 7 nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father. Memorials are suggested for a college fund for his children. Online condolences may be sent to www.watkinsfuneralhomes.com
