Veronica N. Toft Lansing Age 21, passed away unexpectedly Monday, October 1, 2012. Veronica was born January 30, 1991, the daughter of Jeff and Anna (Novello) Toft. She attended St. Gerard School, where she was a member of the National Honor Society,as well as the basketball and softball teams. She graduated from Lansing Catholic, where she swam with Waverly/Lansing Catholic Swim Team, a 4 year band member, member of the Latin Club and danced with Dance City West travel team, . She was also a student at Lansing Community College. Veronica had a bubbly, outgoing, adventurous personality, who loved her family and countless friends. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Richard Toft, Betty Gleason and Veronica Novello. Surviving are her loving parents, Jeff and Anna Toft; sister, Samantha; Grandfather, Vincent Novello; uncle, Michael (Mary) Novello; aunts, Sarah (Frank) Poirier and Denise Finizza; cousins, Stephanie (Jim) Sherman, Vincent Novello, Peter (Chelsea) Novello, Marisa Novello, Tony Novello and Connor McDuffy and a host of loving family. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, 2:00 p.m. at St. Gerard Catholic Church with Rev. Fr. John Klein as Celebrant. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Palmer, Bush and Jensen Family Funeral Homes, Lansing Chapel, 520 E. Mt. Hope Ave, where a rosary will be prayed Thursday evening at 7:00 p.m. For those wishing, memorial contributions may be made to Ele's Place in memory of Veronica.
