Virginia Dancay-Bangura Lansing Virginia (Williams) Dancay-Bangura (Baby-Sister), born in Clarksdale Ms, November 23, 1947, passed away November 25, 2013 at the age of 67. Early in life Virginia played basketball and city league softball for United Way. As a certified baker, her greatest passions were baking and cooking. Virginia was a member of Queen Vashti, Chapter #108, International F. & A. M Masons and Order of Eastern Star. She was a faithful member of Christ's Kingdom Builders Church, under the leadership of Pastor Christopher A. Maxie. Virginia leaves a son, Juadon (Traci), and 2 grand children of Colorado, one granddaughter, 3 great grandsons of Lansing. 3 sisters, Bobbie Martin, Leola Taylor and Mentra Jeanette Taylor of Lansing, 2 sisters, Evelyn and Linda Taylor of Mississippi, 4 brothers, Michael (Emma) Williams, Donald (Angie) Williams, Willie Taylor, Tyrone (Karla) Taylor of Lansing, and brother Michael Taylor of Mississippi. Mrs. Dancay-Bangura will lie in repose today, Tuesday, December 3, 3-9 pm, at the Riley Funeral Home, 426 W. St. Joseph Street, Lansing. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 4, 11:30 am, at Union Missionary Baptist Church, 500 S. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd, Lansing, MI.
