Warren Sevrence Obituary

Warren Edward Sevrence Lansing Age 86; passed away April 20, 2010; born July 10, 1923 to Jack and Ruth Sevrence. Warren worked at American Chain and Cable for 36 years. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. Warren enjoyed reading, working in his yard and traveling with his bride of 62 years. He was also active in the Shriners and was a 33rd degree Mason. Warren will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved him. He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters. Warren is survived by his wife Joan (Timko); daughters, Paulette Dunbar, Wanda Fry and Janet Johnson; 5 grandchildren, a great-grandchild; sister, Pauline Elarton and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, April 27, 2:00 p.m. at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 900 E. Michigan Avenue, Lansing. Visitation for friends and family will be 1-hour prior to the service. Contributions in Warren's memory may be made to the Shriners Hospital Cripple & Burn Units, c/o Elf Khurafeh Temple A.A.O.N.M.S., P.O.
