Willard Blackburn Obituary

Willard Blackburn Lansing Passed away April 7, 2010. Willard was born August 6, 1932 in Ithaca, Michigan to the late Darwin and Christine (Rooney) Blackburn. He was a retired welder and press operator and also a faithful member of the Community Baptist Church. Willard is survived by his wife of over twenty years, Elaine M. (Whiting); children, Michael (Nancy) of Lansing and Shelly Harris of Georgia; step-children, Steve Vroman of Durand and Starlene (Bill) Sullivan of Linden; 4 grandchildren and 5 step grandchildren; 4 brothers and 1 sister. A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 10, 2010, 11:00 a.m. at the Community Baptist Church 7832 W. Mt. Hope Highway Grand Ledge, Michigan with The Reverend Timothy W. Jackson officiating. The family will receive friends at the church 1 hour prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be given to be used according to the wishes of the family.
