Lena M. (Clark) Ayling Chattanooga, TN Age 96, died January 29, 2011 in Chattanooga, TN; born April 7, 1914 in Eaton Rapids, Michigan, the daughter of Millard F. and Myrtle V. (Faustman) Wright. She was a secretary for the Clark Oil Co. and retired in April of 1978 from J. W. Sexton High School as a secretary for the principle. She enjoyed reading and loved her grand and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald E., 2 brothers, Lavern and Bennett Wright, and sister, Lula Leach. Surviving are her son, Rev. Raymond W. (Penny) Clark of Lookout Mountain, GA; stepson, Robert R. (Etta) Ayling of Mt. Pleasant, MI; step-daughter, Jean A. (Walter) Sheerin of Bonita Springs, FL; 12 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 8, 2:00 p.m. at the Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 900 E. Michigan Avenue, Lansing with Father Bill Lugger, officiating. Interment will follow in Deepdale Memorial Gardens, Lansing. The family will receive friends at the Chapel 2 hours prior to the service.
