She grew up in Okemos, MI, and then lived in Williamston, MI for twenty years. She recently settled in Haslett, MI with her husband Tim, whom she married in 2010. A graduate of MSU, she was a lifelong Spartan fan. She went on to earn her MBA from Spring Arbor University in 2010. Sue was an outstanding professional woman, raising money for student scholarships and college improvements as Foundation Director at Lansing Community College and Director of Development at Bloomsburg University in Pennsylvania. Sue was an extremely creative and passionate person; excelling at gardening, scrap booking, photography, and quilting. She enjoyed staying active outside with her husband -walking daily, golfing, kayaking rivers and lakes in Michigan, and traveling. Outside of work, Sue lived for her family and friends. An extremely dedicated and loving mother, Sue was best friends with her two daughters over the years. She was also an outstanding friend to many. It is clear that she touched many lives by the outpour of love and support that she and the family received during the last year of her illness.
