Lonnie Lee Angell Mason Age 54, passed away on Sunday, September 29, 2013 after a courageous battle with Parkinson's disease. He was born on September 20, 1959 in Lansing, MI. Lonnie was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Mason where he continued to attend throughout his illness. He earned the rank of Eagle Scout in 1976, through troop 98, and continued to be involved in his community until he was stricken and less able to participate. Lonnie was a master craftsman and woodworker who took as much pride in his tools as he did in the finished product. He also loved his family and friends dearly and took great interest in their life accomplishments. Lonnie was preceded in death by his father, David G. Angell. He is survived by his mother, Sandra K. Angell, sisters, Becki K. Angell, Lisa M. Mills (Jeffrey) and Geri F. Angell, nieces Cassi Wirt and Bethany Mills, nephews Joshua (Kristine) Mills and Samuel Mills, and great nieces and nephews Addison, Harper and Cash, who continued to bring a smile to his face and joy to his life. Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 4, 2013 at First United Methodist Church of Mason, 201 E. Ash Street, Mason, MI 48854, with luncheon following at the church. The family will receive friends Friday at the church from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00a.m. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Dimondale Nursing Care Center, 4000 N.
