Rex W. Ridenour Grand Ledge Formerly of Lansing Rex W. Ridenour, 88, passed away February 17, 2014. Rex was born September 3, 1925 in Lansing Michigan to the late Floyd and Daisy (Miller) Ridenour. He was a lifelong resident of Lansing, MI. Rex graduated from J.W. Sexton in 1943 and married his wife, the late Ramona L. (Russell) Ridenour, on June 27, 1948. He retired from Fisher Body and BOC in 1987 after 35 years of service. He was a member of the Olds Quarter Century Club, American Legion Post #237, and a WWII Veteran in the 451st Bomb Group. Surviving to cherish Rex's memory are his children, Rebecca Fulcher and David (Christine) Ridenour; grandchildren: Dawn Fulcher, Jennifer (Fulcher) Caruso, Marc Ridenour, and Marcia (Ridenour) Kane; brother, Jack Ridenour; and sister, Carol Johnson. A funeral service will be held Thursday, February 20, 2014 at 12:00 Noon at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, Lansing Chapel, 900 E. Michigan Ave., Lansing, MI 48912. The family will receive friends for visitation on Wednesday, February 19, 2014 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, Lansing Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the , P.O. Box 11454, Alexandria, VA 22312; Autism Society of Michigan, 2178 Commons Pkwy, Okemos, MI 48864; or Save the Willow Run Bomber Plant, c/o MI Aerospace Foundation, P.O. Box 8282, Ann Arbor, MI 48107.
