Robert Thomas King


Age: 69, died March 12, 2014; born May 28, 1944 to Robert and Anna (McCurdy) King. Robert retired from General Motors after 27 years. He served his country in the US Army in the Vietnam War. Robert enjoyed motorcycling and fishing. Most of all he loved to tell a story.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Richard King. He is survived by his wife, Virginia of 49 years; two sons, Jeffery (Doris) King and William (Amy) King; four grandchildren, Matthew, Joshua, Richae, and John; two great-grandchildren, Katie, and Jaden; two sisters, Roberta Wilborn, and Rosie Atasenko; sister-in-law, Betty King; nieces and nephews, Doug, Brenda, Vickie, Scott, Steven, Ted, and Lisa.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, March 15, 2014 from 2 to 6pm, please join us for a potluck at the Aurelius Township Hall at 1939 Aurelius Rd, Mason, MI 48854. Share your favorite story about your neighbor, your uncle, your friend, your brother, your pal, your grandpa or your buddy. Tell us what you called him. Was he Tom? Was he Bobby? Pretty Boy?
