Randall Stank Obituary
Randall Lewis Stank

Randall Lewis Stank age 57 and long time resident of Sunfield passed away after a valiant struggle with cancer, surrounded by his family Sunday March 30. It was a noble fight if such a thing can be said. He gave it his best shot and tried to protect the ones he loved from being crushed by his battle of dying an inch at a time. He loved and touched the lives of so many people during his journey through this life.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Anton and Elsie Stank.

Randy was an avid and faithful Tiger fan, loved hunting, fishing, gardening and simply loved the outdoors. For many years he coached little league in his community and loved teaching young people baseball.

Randy was a member of the Woodgrove Church in Coats Grove and is remembered as bringing his Mother to services each Sunday rain or shine. He saw the best in people and did what he could to help them see it too. He was a quiet man but willingly helped when there was a need. He gave time and love to his mother in her declining years which will never be forgotten. He was wonderful with animals and children alike and they loved him.

Randy is survived by his wife Melissa Stank, his 2 sons, Richard and Corey Stank, 2 stepchildren Gino and AJ, 2 brothers, Ed Stank and John (Janice) Stank and his sister Rose Emory. He will be missed by his 2 Grandchildren, Laceymae, and Gage, and those yet to come. He was deeply loved by his nieces and nephews and their children. His quiet humor and loving acceptance will be missed by all of us and each Halloween, holiday and family event was made special by his presence and participation. His passing has left a large hole in all of his friends and family's lives.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00a.m. - Friday April 4, 2014 at the Rosier Funeral Home, Mapes-Fisher Chapel, Sunfield, MI. Visitation at the Funeral Home will be 2-4 and 6-8 PM Thursday April 3, 2014.
