The Guest Book is expired.
Linda "The Woz" Wozniak, age 63, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, May 2, 2014 in Grand Ledge, MI. She was born Oct. 23, 1950, in Detroit, MI to Dan and Mary Kowalski. Graduated from Mackenzie High School in 1968, she recently retired from Rite Aid Pharmacy as a pharmacy technician, with prior positions held at American Motor Company and Hudson's department store. She married James Wozniak on September 27, 1975, and they resided in Dearborn Heights, MI, before relocating to Grand Ledge in 1985. Linda was a loving and devoted wife, mother, sister and friend to many. 'Be there' was her motto, a steadfast supporter of her husband and children's musical and fine arts endeavors. Proud of her Polish heritage, Linda enjoyed attending polka dances with her husband, Jim, traveling, and listening to rock music at high volume. A 'foodie' for certain, Linda enjoyed baking and creating desserts masterpieces, as well as serving meals to others, especially through Country House Catering and lunch at the Grand Ledge Rotary Club for over 20 years.
Linda is survived by her husband James of 38 years, son Paul (Erin Buitendorp), daughter Katherine, mother-in-law Helen and sisters Gladys (Graham) Johnson, Mary (Gerry) Becker and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Linda is preceded in death by her parents Dan and Mary Kowalski of Detroit; and her sister Jaqueline Lawrence of Vicksburg, MI.
