Thomas L. Wyble, 83, died on Monday, May 19, 2014 at Prestige Pines in DeWitt, MI. Tom was born on February 26, 1931 in Lansing, MI the son of Dale & Genevieve (Meaghar) Wyble. He graduated from St. Mary's High School in Lansing and received his pharmacy degree from Ferris State University. He owned and operated Will Pharmacy in Lansing and later worked for Rite Aid Pharmacy also in Lansing. Tom was a veteran of the U. S. Army during the Korean Conflict. On August 16, 1975 he married Geraldine L. (Woodhams) Shafley in St. Johns, MI. He attended the First United Methodist Church, and was a member of St. Johns Lions Club, The American Legion, and the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Survivors include his wife, Geraldine. Step Children, Gail (Thomas) Bullard of Mecosta, MI, Kristine (Cayle) Woodard of Milford, IN., and Pastor James (Wendy) Shafley of Saginaw, MI. Son David Hewitt Wyble of Birch Run, MI, 11 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
Tom was preceded in death by his parents, sister Loranne Fox and aunt and uncle, Lefty & Catherine Thornton.
Funeral services will be held at Keck-Coleman Funeral Home, Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at 10:30 A.M. with Pastor James Shafley officiating. Burial will be at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Lansing, MI. at 2:00 P.M.
The family will receive friends and relatives at the funeral home on Tuesday, May 20, 2014, 3-7 P.M. and one hour prior to services on Wednesday. Memorials may be given to First United Methodist Church or the
