Theresa Strahota, age 94 of Howell, passed away early Saturday morning, June 7, 2014. Born in Lynch, Kentucky on December 12, 1919, she was the daughter of John and Rose (Nemeth) Fodor. A Howell resident since 2007, Theresa formerly resided in Dearborn and Cherokee Village, Arkansas. A good friend to many, she was also an avid golfer, bowler, bridge and rummikub player.
Beloved wife of the late Edward J. Strahota who preceded her in death on June 28, 1994. Loving mother of Marlene Strahota of East Lansing, Patricia (Gene) Grimes of Mt. Kisco, New York, Noreen (Parker) McConnell of Howell, Judith Strahota of Boulder, Colorado and Edward (Cindy) Strahota of St. Charles, Illinois. Also survived by her grandchildren, Robert Slavsky, Russell Strahota, Hannah Strahota, Forrest Strahota, Rebbeca Watson, Myles Grimes, Devon Grimes and seven great grandchildren. Preceded in death by 10 brother and sisters.
