Bernard Walter Blake Lansing Passed away on Saturday, November 17, 2012 at the age of 88. Bernard was born on January 27, 1924 to Delbert and Rena (Randolph) Blake in Hocking Port, Ohio. Bernard proudly served his country as a member of the United States Air Force during WWII. After his service he moved to Lansing and married his wife Elizabeth (Moffit) Blake in 1948. Bernard worked for, and retired from General Motors and was a long time member of the Pennway Church of God. He enjoyed gardening, planting flowers, and wood working. Bernard is preceded in death by his parents; wife; sisters, Marjorie Luman, and Vesta Camp. Surviving Bernard are his daughters, Angela Blake, Jane Harris, Carolyn Blake; sons, Steve (Holley) Blake, Robert (Kathy) Blake; 9 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; brother, Paul (Nancy) Blake; sister, Nancy Schultz; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 26, 2012 2:00 p.m. at Pennway Church of God in Lansing.
