Michael Steven Bushnell Lansing Age 64, passed away February 4, 2013. Mike was born November 24, 1948 in Albany California. He was the son of Carl (Gene) and Elizabeth (Stevens) Bushnell. Mike graduated from Everett High School in 1966 and immediately joined the Navy and left for boot camp. Mike served his country during the Viet Nam War. He went on to finish an 8 year apprenticeship and worked as a Die Sinker for 30 years at Lindell Drop Forge and later at Lake City Forge. Mike was a proud and active member of Plymouth Congregational Church serving as a Deacon and in other capacities. He was a lifetime member of the Loyal Order of Moose and the American Legion. Mike loved people and had "lots of folks" who called him friend. He was an avid reader and a lifelong learner currently enrolled in a two year study of the Bible. He was a loving and doting uncle and made a point of keeping in touch with his nieces and nephew albeit long distance. Michael was predeceased by his father Carl G. Bushnell. He is survived by his mother Betty Bushnell; sister Lynne Baird; brothers Carl G. Bushnell Jr. of Los Angeles, CA and brother Dean (Kathleen) Bushnell of Henderson, NV; 3 nieces and a nephew and two grand nephews. There will be a Memorial Service at Plymouth Congregational Church on Friday, February 8, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. with visitation one hour prior.
