Dallas L. Tebeau Age 89. Dallas went to be with the Lord on February 20, 2013, surrounded by his loving family. He is now in the Lord's presence where there is only joy and he is with all his family and friends who put their trust in Jesus. He is where there is no more pain, suffering or sorrow and he waits patiently for all the ones that he loved on earth to join his joy someday. Dallas was born April 29, 1923, and raised in Jackson, MI. Dallas retired as a tool and die maker on his 65th birthday in 1988 from Oloffson's in Lansing, MI. He was married to the love of his life, Evalynn, on June 14, 1947. They were married for 62 years until Evalynn's death on March 16, 2010 and they had nine children together. Dallas was always known as a hard worker and great provider for his family. He was an avid bowler and bowled in three leagues up to he was 85 years old. Dallas was a Marine veteran and served in World War II and the Korean Conflict as an airplane mechanic. Dallas was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years Evalynn, parents, his brother Dale and sister Shirley, and his loving son Michael (Bruce) Tebeau. Dallas is survived by his surviving eight children: David (Terri) Tebeau of Foxxborough, MA; Sherril Tebeau of Sylvania, OH; Dennis Tebeau of Lansing, MI; Garry (Karin) Tebeau of Holt, MI; Robert Tebeau of Virginia; Thomas (Vicki) Tebeau of Williamston, MI; Roger (Shelly) Tebeau, Eaton Rapids, MI; and Patricia (Chris) DeMars of East Jordon, MI; and his 18 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Due to Dallas's wishes there will be no services. A celebration of Dallas's Life will be held at later date. In lieu of flowers, the family asks you send donations to St. Lawrence Hospice in his name.
